Domes for those who design. For those who fabricate. For those who build.
Geodesic domes are among the smartest structures ever conceived. Light, resilient, efficient by nature. Yet, in practice, they have always been structures of complex math that depend on specialists. GenDome was built to remove that barrier. We made a platform where anyone can configure, visualize and document a complete geodesic structure in minutes — and move straight to fabrication.
You set the idea. GenDome handles the rest.
For those who design
Explore dozens of alternatives in minutes. Adjust diameter, frequency and sphere fraction without redrawing or rebuilding models. Creative freedom comes back to the process.
For those who fabricate
Receive cut lists, angles, connectors and assembly maps organized automatically. Less interpretation. Fewer errors. More production.
For those who build
Get reliable quantities to quote with confidence, adapt to site reality, and decide fast. The project stops being a black box and becomes a tool for execution.
100% Online.
GenDome runs straight in the browser and follows the entire project cycle. From first study to on-site assembly, models, quantities, technical documentation and execution guides stay accessible on any device.

From concept to construction in three steps.
From the first decision to the job site, GenDome turns complex geometry into documentation ready for production and assembly.
01 — Configure
Define what you want to build. Pick dimensions, frequency, bar type (tubular or rectangular), connectors and panels. The 3D model responds in real time so you can explore alternatives before committing.
02 — Fabricate
Turn geometry into production. GenDome organizes bars, panels and connectors automatically, generating cut lists, quantities and technical detailing ready for fabrication.
03 — Assemble
Take it to the site with confidence. Walk the assembly sequence piece by piece, ring by ring, and bring the 3D panel to the build.
You define. GenDome generates.
Configure Geometry, Bars, Connectors and Panels and receive — in real time — fabrication files, plans, 3D models and assembly maps ready for the build site.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to know geodesic math?
No. You set radius, frequency and sphere fraction — the platform computes struts, nodes and panels.
Do the files open in my CAD/CNC?
Yes. CSV and JSON for spreadsheet and metal shop; OBJ and GLTF for 3D. Open formats, no lock-in.
Does the same project always yield the same result?
Yes. The calculation is deterministic — repeatable strut by strut, to quote and cut with confidence.
Can I try before subscribing?
Yes. The Free plan runs V1–V3 with no credit card. Exports unlock on Pro.
What are the payment methods?
Payment via Stripe, with a Customer Portal to manage your subscription. Pix coming soon.
What dome size does the platform cover?
From small shelters to event structures. Adjust the radius freely and check human scale in 3D.
